Aged Parent and Working Aged Parent Visa
Parent Visa Applications are a low priority and the current number of Parent
Visa Applications exceeds the number of places available.
Applications for Parent Visas (except Contributory Parent Visas) are held in a queue for
approximately 4 years before being processed. Then the processing time is generally 9 to 12 months
after the queuing process.
Contributory Parent Visa
This visa has been made
available by the Australian Government for those applicants who are able to
contribute an additional charge to cover health costs. This visa type
then entitles the application to ‘priority processing’, substantially reducing
the processing time.
The processing time is generally 9 to 12 months.
Remaining Relative Visa
The processing times will vary from country to country and according to your
personal circumstances.
The processing time is generally 2 to 3 years.
