‘Hot Tip’ for October:

We have recently encountered an escalating number of clients who have contacted us after having been refused entry into Australia when they arrived at the airport because they didn't have the right visa for their intended activities in Australia.

If you arrive on the wrong visa and you are refused entry, the visa you have is normally cancelled, resulting not only in refusal of entry, but you also then have a three year exclusion period (ban) from coming back to Australia on most temporary visas.

It is important that you have the right visa to enter Australia to avoid this happening to you. Many short stay business visitors are having difficulty understanding the right visa at the moment because of the many new options available.

If you need assistance to understand your situation you can call our 'paid advice line' here.
