‘Hot Tip’ for August:

If you are an employer considering sponsoring an overseas worker, the government has recently introduced a 'labour market testing' criterion. This essentially means that you will need to demonstrate that you have not been able to fill the position locally (for example through employment advertising). There are some exemptions to this. We can help you understand how to meet the labour market testing requirements and whether or not the exemptions may apply to your situation. The key, in any case, is to start the process early to give yourself the time necessary to meet the requirements.
