The Job Assistance Service is available to non-Australian job seekers that are looking for an Australian employer to employ/sponsor them.

National Visas will identify your ANZSCO defined occupation and lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Employer Sponsored Visas, detailing work and education history (resume) on the Australian Government SkillSelect database and manage employer sponsorship enquires on your behalf.

Australian employers can access the database and search for appropriate candidates from around the world.

The problem facing non-Australian job seekers:

Many highly skilled and/or educated non-Australians find it difficult to find an employer in Australia who is willing to sponsor them. This is generally because the Australian employer is unsure about the visa sponsorship process.

The solution:

Using this service allows potential employers to speak to a Registered Migration Agent to understand the visa sponsorship undertakings.

Once an Australian employer understands the visa sponsorship undertakings, they are a generally more willing to employ a non-Australian.

Simply take an Online Assessment, complete the Online Consultation, and if you purchase this service your details will be lodged on the SkillSelect database within three (3) working days.

The Job Assistance Service includes:

  • A Registered Migration Agent will review your work history to identify your appropriate ANZSCO defined occupation.
  • Lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Employer Sponsored Visas, detailing work and education history (resume) on the Australian Government SkillSelect database (excludes EOI for point tested visas).
  • You can refer prospective employers to National Visas and we can manage employer enquiries about the visa sponsorship process to ensure they understand that sponsoring a non-Australian is not a difficult task.
  • Once the prospective employer is comfortable with the visa sponsorship process you speak directly with the employer to potentially arrange an interview and seek employment.
  • Alert Australian employers on the National Visas database of your work and education history (resume) details for them to review (when appropriate).
  • The option of recruitment companies providing a dedicated, personalised and targeted job search to try to match skilled migrants with potential employer/sponsors.
  • A Registered Migration Agent will advise you on whether an IELTS test and an Australian Industry recognised Skills Assessment would be helpful to potentially increase your chance of finding employment.
