Perhaps the climate which is certainly better, or the cost of living which is perceived to be cheaper.

It could be the lifestyle as it is indeed laid back more emphasis on home life and social life rather than working all the hours. But definitely the exquisite sceneries and the beaches that drawn the tourists to live and stay with Australia.

There are various different types of visa for getting hold of access to Australia and for gaining stable residency status. For many it can be very overwhelming just formative which one to apply for, let alone going from beginning to end the application process. The common of people relocating to live ‘down under’ from the different country do so on a skilled migrant visa, with others supervision to increase sponsorship from an employer before they relocate or possibly being sponsored by family previously residing in Australia.

If you want to know where to start, you start by formative which visa type you will be most likely to get. If you want a tourist visa, student visa or working visa, you can actually find the information you need online. Find a website the will help you with your Australian Visa application. However, be careful to seek for help with the right information and guidelines. As we don’t know if there is a site which is a scam and will just put you in trouble.

Nationalvisas.com.au is the leading provider of visa and immigration advice and is regulated by the Australian Government and that’s why thousands have used National Visas to receive their visa to Australia in the last year alone. You can contact them anytime if you want to get help for your Holiday Visa to Australia.

<g:plusone size="tall" count="1" href="http://www.nationalvisas.com.au/blog/visitor-visas/australian-eta-visa-vs-evisitor-visa/"></g:plusone>

An Australian ETA visa or the Electronic Travel Authority is for people who want to make a short trip into Australia for holidays, tourism, recreation and informal studies. It is usually valid for up to 12 months from date of granting and allows the holder to stay up to three months per visit to Australia.

A similar Australian visa that is also very popular is the eVisitor visa. This allows the holder to travel to Australia for business or tourism purposes for up to three months. Tourism may mean holidays, recreation and seeing family and friends while business could mean attending conferences, negotiations or for an exploratory business visit.

The Australian ETA visa and the eVisitor visa works similarly, in that it is one of the most convenient ways to travel to Australia. Both the ETA visa and the eVisitor visa let you skip long lines and difficult visa processing, since you don’t need to visit a departmental office to gain one. These are the few visa types that are entirely electronically stored. It can be accessed by airlines, travel agents and Australian border control and does not require a stamp or label on your passport.

It also follows similar usage rules. Both the ETA and the eVisitor visas are dependent on the passport you used when lodging the application. A separate eVisitor and ETA is required per family member traveling to Australia. These visas cannot be granted while the applicant is in Australia and cannot be extended for a longer period of stay in the country.

The Australian ETA visa is available to passport holders from over 30 countries, regions and locations including the following: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway. Portugal, Republic of San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, USA and Vatican City.

Meanwhile, the eVisitor visa is for passport holder from the European Union and a number of other European countries. These include the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Republic of San Marino, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and Vatican City.

The system was introduced in 1996. Basically, this is an electronically stored authority to travel to Australia. It removes the need for a visa label, passport stamp or even application forms.

The Australian ETA visa system can be accessed by more than 300,000 travel agents worldwide and more than 75 airlines. There are three types of Australia ETA visas available:

ETA (Visitor) subclass 976 allows up to three months stay per visit within a 12-months from visa grant. The ETA (Business Entrant-Short Validity) subclass 977 also allows the same length of stay with 12-months of visa grant but is mostly used for business travel. The ETA (Business Entrant-Long Validity) subclass 956, on the other hand, allows up to three months stay per visit and is based on the validity of the passport.

It is important to remember that when an ETA is granted, it is always linked electronically to the ETA visa holder’s passport. As such, if there is a need to change a passport after the Australian ETA visa has already been granted, then the applicant must get a new ETA for the new passport.

During travel, the service provider (ie airlines or border control) enters the information found on the traveler’s passport into their ETA system, which interacts with the departmental systems. The ETA visa holder’s details are checked and the service provider is advised of the outcome. Everything is done electronically.

Travelers can enjoy the seamless process of purchasing their airline ticket and obtaining their Australian ETA visa at the same time. Service providers also benefit from this system as it saves airline staff time at the check-in counter.
