Tourism Australia in Partnership with TripAdvisory

August 25, 2011 – The world’s largest travel site that aims to help people with tourist visa to Australia in gathering travel information, posting reviews and opinions of travel related content and engaging in interactive travel forums, TripAdvisor, just recently formed a partnership with Tourism Australia, Australia’s award-winning website responsible for the international and domestic marketing of Australia as a destination for leisure and business travel.

Tourism Australia just recently formed a partnership with TripAdvisor through the new Australian Tourism Data Warehouse Link (ATDW).
Now, Tourism Australia’s site visitors like those who have just been newly granted with tourist visa in Australia, can now benefit from travel reviews and other helpful user-generated contents from TripAdvisor enabling travelers to plan and have their perfect trip.
Since it was founded in February 2000 by Stephen Kaufer, TripAdvisor has been providing its visitors with trusted advice from real travelers and a wide variety of travel choices and planning features (including Flights search, TripAdvisor Mobile and TripAdvisor Trip Friends) with seamless links to booking tools.
Under the agreement, visitors to Nothing Like Australia (www.nothinglikeaustralia.com) website can now view TripAdvisor content relating to key Australian tourist destinations as these contents are available on this site. The TripAdvisor contents are powered by the Australian Data Warehouse (ATDW).
Senior Partnerships Manager for TripAdvisor, Maud Larpent, commented that the world’s largest travel site is thrilled that they are now able to provide Tourism Australia, and other significant destination marketing organizations, with TripAdvisor‘s user generated content, which includes over 50 million reviews and opinions, through their partnership with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse.
According to Tourism Australia’s Executive General Manager Consumer Marketing, Nick Baker, with the newly integrated TripAdvisor content on Tourism Australia’s Nothing Like Australia website, Australia visitors visa holders who travel to the country for a holiday will now find it easier to discover the best of Australia as well as site’s visitors will now be able to read reviews from fellow travelers regarding the best things to see and do in over 30,000 great Australian holiday experiences on Nothing Like Australia’s website.
