The Disagreeing Changes of Australian Student Visa policy
December 13, 2010 Australia – The Australia Immigration has introduced new changes in Australian Student Visa Policy. The new policy sounds unreachable making it difficult for international students to enter Australia. The changes have been said to bring a lot of jobs as what Australian government believes.
The number of Australian migration has devastatingly goes down just by counting on the application for Australian Student Visas. The news put many education providers in turmoil as they are very particular about the future of this division.
In recent report done by Government Agency Australian Education International, the ratio of new international students ceding to Australia unstoppably diminishes. The number drops down by 9.5% or more than 32,000 would’ve-been students as of the end of October. The report also shows how the total enrolments depleted with 1.4% or 599, 795 students.
As part of the changes of Australian Student Visa policy, work in Australia for students is also complained which put Australian government in too much pressure. The government is being forced not just to reclaim but also to ease the student visa eligibility criteria. It was also said that last month, the government loosen rules financially on international students who take higher education diplomas while retaining those who choose vocational education diplomas.
The revisions of the current Australian visa policy have been denounced by some industry bodies. The new policy sounds so disagreeing because some nationalities have to face difficulties in Australian migration than others.
Few days ago, Australian Immigration Minister Chris Bowen and some industry representatives had a meeting about this issue and how to catch up with all the complaints and discriminations from some localities.
