From the recent UK news spread across the country about the 22nd Sunday Times Rich List 2010. There are lots of well celebrated and travel tycoons have been awarded in this event. The chart lists the 1,000 wealthiest people in the UK.

At number 18 is Sir Richard Branson, with the total amount of the expenses on its holiday, transport, internet and Mobile Phone Empire has netted him £2.6 billion. At number 177 was Peter Harris, founder of Butlins and Haven caravan parks owner Bourne Leisure with a total money bank of £135 million to £380 million this year. With Bourne Leisure co-founder John Cook list at the position of 214.

Total income of £84 million from the sale of Gold Medal from Kenneth Townsley, and Thomas Cook, was at number 574 with a worth of £115 million. Simon Nixon an online entrepreneur at 201 and the co-founder of Moneysupermarket who reported of earnings decreased in 2008 but recover and now runs travel site Simon Seeks. Von Essen Hotels founder Andrew Davis (number 244) was worth £292 million, up £2 million. At 299 Geoffrey Kent, founder of operator Abercrombie and Kent with his £213 money in the bank. Also included are Rahul and Rita Sharma, the couple who own Best at Travel in London, and Dinesh Dhamija, who is worth £75 million having received £86.7 million before tax.

These are some of the name that included in the 1000 wealthiest people in the United Kingdom.
