Smart Phone Application for Western Australia Visitors

Experiencing Western Australia is now even becoming easier for visitors holidaying in the State and locals as Tourism WA recently released its new smartphone application created by Host, Sydney and Adapptor.
Known as Experience WA, the new, free application is for for iPhone and Android models.
With access to more than 7,000 listings featuring places to see, explore, eat, drink and stay in Perth and around the State, it places the best of the WA right at the visitors’ fingertips.


According to Laura Dawson, Tourism WA’s Executive Director Marketing, the smartphone app is expected to be an incredible resource for users for it can function as a personal pocket guide to the State’s extraordinary experiences and essential information.
Moreover, the new app can be used as a location-based tool that can show visitors on travel visas Australia of places that are nearby, or they can explore suggested itineraries and build personal ‘to do’ lists.
This is truly fabulous news for those who are for application for Australian visa as they can now plan their itineraries in advance and enjoy more of Western Australia.
More significantly, important travel tips such as customs and Australia visiting visa information, getting around WA and emergency numbers, sourcing customized travel inspiration – from a one-hour adventure to a spectacular vacation, can be experienced. The app also has handy features like maps; tap-to-call and links to operator websites could be obtained from the said app.
Furthermore, the app is not just useful for travelers but also for West Australian locals as the app could be used as a tool to find out what’s on and discover new experiences in their own backyard.
Conveniently, the Experience WA app has been released just in time for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting to be held in Perth 28-30 October, which will attract around 4,000 delegates and visitors to the State.
The app is now available from iTunes and Android Marketplace as a free download.
