Australia, October 12, 2010 – Records show that the number of skilled Brits migrating to other countries has been increasing year by year. Based on the number of tickets for Opportunities expos pre-sold by the organizers, more Brits looking for a better lifestyle may possibly move to another country this year.

The Opportunities expos are to take place in London and Manchester come October and most of the Brits who have already purchased tickets choose Australia and New Zealand as their destination.

In July and December of 2009, the Australian Immigration has recorded about 14,358 Brits who has migrated for good to Australia. 4,299 were said to have moved in New Zealand and were reported to have sought long term residences in the 3 months to December 2009, this according to Statistics New Zealand.

According to Hayley Roberts, CEO of Working In Ltd, baby-boomers in Australia and New Zealand entering the age of retirement continue to increase. This, he pointed out, will cause these two countries shortages in human resource.

Reports from the NZIER Consensus in New Zealand and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Australia state that both places are on its way to recovery from the recession with a possible growth in the economy in the coming year.

The growing economies have also increased the demands for skilled workers like teachers, engineers, builders, and others. Australian and New Zealand are keen on accommodating skilled British workers who wish to improve their lives to join their work force.

Australian and New Zealand employers are set to attend the Opportunities expos in UK to meet with the British skilled workers who are interested in moving to their country. Journey to Work experts from Working In Visa’s will also be in attendance to offer hundreds of current vacancies from the two places mentioned.

The Opportunities expos, a flagship events of Working In, is set to hit London in October 9-10 and Manchester on the 16th and 17th of the same month. Tickets are available online or at the door of the venue. Ticket price is 15.oo pounds sterling with a chance for online ticket holders to have their visas processed for free which is worth 3500 pounds sterling should they be drawn.
