Refugees refuse to have a visa
Australia, January 13, 2010 – Tamil refugee recently refused to have a visa to stay in Australia; this has been reported from The Federal Government. Pressure have been gone from the Immigration Department, Wilson Tuckey the prompting outspoken Liberal backbencher said that the department need to relocate all the refugees to another country.
Indeed there some refuges who are disqualified to stay in the land down under according to Immigration Minister Chris Evans. That the department actually have an idea in regards with this even before the refugees arrive on Christmas Island. The Government unfortunately decline the visa for three men and one woman from Tamil. The number on refugees arrived on Christmas Island was 78 people from Sri Lanka as part of the transaction done to end the Oceanic Viking stand-off last year.
The fifth person and last to arrived was also been declined according to Senator Evans. Some of them believe that they receive that these five are actually a security threat.
However the minister will not expose why the intelligence-gathering administration ASIO reported this statement.
“They do not qualify for visas to enter Australia and they won’t be entering Australia. They’ll be detained on Christmas Island,” Senator Evans said.
