Online Application for Australia Visa Now available to Croatians

Australia, July 6, 2011 – Just recently, the Australia immigration department has announced another expansion of its Electronic Tourist Visa program to citizens of Croatia and the Maldives.

The expansion has commenced last July 1, 2011.

Since July 1, citizens of the Maldives and Croatia area now able to apply for an electronic tourist visa known as e676 Tourist visa.

Previously, Maldives and Croatia passport holders were not allowed to apply electronically for this Tourist visa for Australia via the internet.

Now, with the recent Electronic Tourist Visa expansion, Croatia passport holders are now one of the those that are able to apply for the tourist Australia visa known as e676 Tourist visa over the internet.

Just recently, there are only 52 countries all over the world that are eligible to apply electronically for this Australian electronic tourist visa program, now, with the addition of Maldives and Croatia, it now totals to 54 countries.

What is e676 Tourist visa?

This e676 Tourist visa is an Electronic Tourist Visa that can be submitted via the internet by any of the eligible passport holders from countries who are allowed to submit an online application for a Tourist visa.

This type of visa allows visa holders for either a single or multiple entry to Australia for a stay period of up to three, six or 12 months for the purpose of a holiday or recreation, or to visit family and friends.

This immigration Australia visa can also be used for other short-term non-work purposes that include study for less than three months.

This visa is linked to the passport number you use in your application and thus you are required to use the same passport to travel to Australia and make sure your passport is valid for the duration of stay you are applying for.

An Excellent Bilateral Relations

With this recent expansion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called this move an affirmation of the excellent bilateral relations between the 2 countries as well as an expression of trust given to Croatia as it ended European Union negotiations.
