Australia, March 24, 2010 – From the recent new published in Australia the newest technology, known as Hypersonic International Flight Research Experimentation or HIFiRE is now in process of testing. This has been developed by the scientists from Australia’s Defence Science and Technology Organisation and the US Air Force.

This according to the report the second “hypersonic” flight in the land down under, the dream of 3 hrs flight from Australia to Europe came to happened. With the hypersonic the speed will never been this fast.

However the Australian and US justify the boffins at Woomera as they launched a plane which hit speeds of 5840km/h, this according to them have double up the speed of the fastest jet flight and six times quicker than today’s airliner, but 3000km/h slower than last year’s first flight. According to The Daily Telegraph the flight from Sydney to London will only take just 2.9 hours.

This hypersonic Woomera flight test can have the speed of 200km into space on a rocket before it dived back through the atmosphere. And it can transmit date before breaking up and crashing to the ground 10 minutes after its launch.

Defence Science Minister Greg Combet said, “The flight was a significant milestone giving scientists critical data for a sustained hypersonic engine.
