January 10, 2012 – Are you a business owner, investor, or a senior executive employee of a major business? Are you interested to get any of the business visas to Australia?

With Australia’s booming economy, many investors are now interested to invest or are now investing in Australia.

Australia has a business skills migration program that is designed to attract successful business people (business owners, investors and senior executives) to settle permanently in Australia and develop new or existing businesses in Australia.

So if you are a highly-qualified and successful business person wanting to resettle Down Under, Australia has a number of visas Australian options designed to enable business migration for business people to Australia. However, each category option has different Australian visa requirements. A visa of Australia applicant must meet and comply for one to do business in the country. Exactly which type of migration is relevant depends upon your exact requirements, relevant business experience, and available investment capital.

Basically, business experience and language ability are needed in order to live and work in Australia. In most cases, if you are granted visas for Australia, it would initially be a four-year temporary business visa in Australia. Once you have established the requisite level of business activity or maintain their eligible investment, you will then be eligible to apply for a Business Skills (Residence) visa for permanent residency in Australia.

However, for those certain business migrants sponsored by State/Territory governments, a direct permanent residence category will still be available for them. This is known as the Business Talent visa.

Meanwhile, last April 2 2011, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has introduced a Public Interest Criterion (PIC) that was implemented last November 5, 2011 that will apply to all visa subclasses in the Business Skills Program. This criterion allows certain visa applications to be refused where false or misleading information is provided to the department.

DIAC will treat it a serious offense to misrepresent yourself, or one of your family members when making an application for an Australian visa. This will also include those making false or misleading statements, or submitting false information or false documents with your application. Even if someone else completes your application for you, you are responsible for it.

So, business visa applicants for Australia must better explain why they do not have a document rather than to submit a false document with their Australian business visa application.
