British Airways and American Airlines partnership approved
UK February 17, 2010 – The mergers between the British Airways with American Airlines have been approved by the US regulators and gave a signal to start their business with tourist visa UK. This agreement has been submitted and issued for approval for almost 12 years now. And last Saturday great news has been stated and the application was approved and granted by the US Department of Transportation.
However there will always rules and regulations for this agreement, the US regulators allowed the merged between the BA and AA yet they need to collaborate in regards with the prices and the routes and giving up the fair pairs of take-off and landing slots between the US and Heathrow. Last 2002 this application has been declined so they need to show their business strategies now for UK Visa.
However Sir Richard Branson, president of Virgin Atlantic has some negative thought about the agreement, he said: “This draft decision is a real kick in the teeth for consumers.”
