Australia’s immigration detention centre illegal
Australia, January 12, 2010 – Lately the Amnesty immigrant co-ordinator, Graham Thom the Amnesty immigrant co-ordinator spent a week examining the Australian immigration centre, situated on Australia’s remote Indian Ocean Territory. He explained the amenities and surroundings there as intolerable. According to Amnesty International that the Australia’s immigration detention facility might charge of breaching of human rights and it should be close for good.
During the situations on Christmas Island Thom said; “It is not sustainable. You can obviously see the collision it is having on the mental health of those who have been there a long time.”
However for protection purposes the Amnesty International decision will be stay privately. As the controversial in Australia the government are having the anxiety to manage the illegal immigration in the land down under.
