According to Tourism Australia’s UK and Northern Europe General Manager, Rodney Harrex, the agency is promoting Australian travel as another option for young people wanting to travel and who have missed out on a position at their chosen institution through its Australia visiting visa Work Holiday program.
Under travel visas to Australia Work Holiday program, young people, particularly those in their university years, are allowed to extended holiday to Australia while having the option to supplement their holiday funds with short-term or part time work in Australia.
Mr. Harrex said that while these university pre-grads travel to Australia, they can have the opportunity to supplement their travel expenses for not only does the country have a lot of available job opportunities but also due to the strong Australian dollar, these pre-grad working holidaymakers can earn good money.
Furthermore, pre- university grads who have no intention yet to finish their schooling are advised to consider getting cheap flights to Australia instead and avail of this application for Australian visa Work Holiday visa.
