60 percent more Irish apply to Australia

November 25, 2010 – With the boom in Australia’s job market, more and more skilled workers are heading to the country with hopes of finding a better career opportunity that will not only offer them a growth in their career but get good compensation for it as well. All of these are possible in Australia which is why a larger number of skilled workers are applying for a visa from Australia.

Work visas Australian has gained popularity and so as the Australian visa online as it offers the most convenient way to apply for one. Just recently, reports have it that there is a great number of young Irish people who have been applying for work visa Australia and are heading to the country. This report is based on a survey that was conducted.

Irish consultants and Australian Visa Specialists stated that there has been a 60 percent increase in the recorded number of Irish people who are heading to Australia. These people are said to be between the ages of 18 to 31. They are said to be looking for a chance to work and live in Australia permanently.

The two largest categories of the young Irish people found to be applying to emigrate or travel on backpacker and holiday working visas to Australia are comprised of graduates aged 18-25 and redundant workers between the ages of 25 to 31.

There were various reasons cited why these people are applying for a visa and Australia but a spokeswoman from the Australian Visa Specialist stated that these young Irish people are said to have just lost hope in Ireland and were prompted to move to Australia in search for a better way of life.

Not only is the Irish moving to Australia now but people from other countries as well. This trend is expected to continue until such time that the world economy starts to get better, thus giving skilled workers better opportunities at finding better jobs in their own countries.
